Last year, as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, ESL took the language travel world by storm when it launched the ESL Language Travel Awards, the first award ceremony to combine student reviews with ESL staff feedback to choose its award winners. It was a star-studded night for the industry… everyone was dressed to impress and the ceremony reunited some of the top language school groups in the world.
After the success of the first award ceremony, ESL is excited to announce that we’ll be continuing this tradition with the 2017 edition! Taking place in the gorgeous city of Barcelona, on November 30th, 2017, our partner schools and ESL staff will take part in a glamorous gala night.
Language schools are eligible for the following categories:
- School of the Year (English)
- School of the Year (other languages)
- School Group of the Year
- School Facilities of the Year
- Accommodation Services of the Year
- Teaching Programme of the Year
- Leisure Programme of the Year
- Junior Programme of the Year
- CSR Champion of the Year
What makes the ESL Language Travel Awards so special is how the nominees and winners are decided. Throughout the year, we collect feedback from all of our students after their language stays, from juniors to adults, business students, gap programme students, participants in internship programmes, etc. Using our students’ feedback ratings from the previous 12 months, we choose our nominees. Then, our staff members who regularly interact with our partner schools provide their individual feedback, and we combine scores to achieve a final ranking. So, receiving an award based on real student feedback that recognises both quality and client satisfaction is really something to be proud of!
Stay tuned to get all the latest info on the 2017 edition of the ESL Language Travel Awards and our workshop combining compelling seminars, exciting events and more. Don’t forget to use our special hashtag #ESLAwards when posting about the event on social media. We’re already counting down the days!
