In late 2013, staff from our offices across Europe visited ESL’s schools in Freiburg and Berlin. These staff trips help our team keep up with the latest developments at the schools, enjoy the travel experience and get feedback from students. In turn, our staff can increase their knowledge of the destinations and share what they learn.
The trip started in the beautiful city of Freiburg. In Germany’s far south-west, on the edge of the Black Forest, Freiburg is renowned for having the most annual sunshine in Germany. Perhaps as a result of the sunshine and glorious location, it is also Germany’s most eco-friendly city.
We then took the night train to Berlin, arriving in the middle of the city the next morning. Is there a more convenient way to travel within Europe than by train? You can read all about the experience here.
Berlin was everything a big city should be: vibrant, cosmopolitan and open… with the added attraction of being very affordable.
At ESL, our staff regularly travel around the world to visit our partner schools and students. Check out our recent trips to the USA, to the UK to sample an Executive English experience and to Australia.
