In the beautiful city of Barcelona, we’ve gathered our partners—the industry leaders of study travel— for our annual ESL conference. Training sessions, seminars, meetings, presentations, and dedicated feedback—all packed into three days, with 150 language study specialists from over 30 countries. The event was split halfway between ESL global team members and a handful of our partner schools, which represents the unique diversity of our network!
The personal dimension and 2025 preparation
One of the best ways for us to get detailed, firsthand input and build personal relationships with our partner schools is through the dedicated sessions in this event. This is how we deliver the VIP service that you, the student, benefit from! The only way to get the most in-depth information is by hearing it directly from the source, and over these three days, we shared a tremendous amount of knowledge between our staff and our partner schools. It’s events like these that help us understand your needs and expectations!
Trust, respect, and sharing information are the building blocks of a strong school-agency relationship. Our annual workshop is the perfect opportunity to cement this relationship by sharing the student and staff feedback we have collected throughout the year. Subsequently, our partner schools also pass on their insights, as well as the latest trends of the industry, allowing everyone to perfect the student experience further in 2025
Spanish in the spotlight
Spanish is the second most requested language by our students after English. As a matter of fact, you can study Spanish with ESL in a wide range of beautiful destinations in Latin America and all corners of Spain. With such diversity, we love recommending each individual what could suit them best and we know wherever they choose to go, they will enjoy a contagious new way of life and make solid progress in Spanish. We can also rest assured knowing their experience will be made even better by the various extracurricular activities we organise alongside all of our partners!
To add a flavour of our student’s experience to our workshop, we welcomed our guests from around the world to the elegantly stylish and cosy facilities of one of our key partner schools in Barcelona. The catering was in the good hands of our special guest in charge of the paella: Chef Nando, from our partner school in Valencia, who brought all of his equipment, local products and know-how from his home town! He acquired much of this by organising memorable paella parties for the students in his school.
Nice people, delicious food and good vibes could only get better with Canela y Limón, a Flamenco trio who got everyone dancing and singing along to the music! There was no better way to celebrate our longstanding partnership relations with the best language schools from all over the world.
