Listen up, reality TV fans and Snapchat addicts! We have your new show of the summer, Les Lambdas Débarquent! The very first reality TV show to be hosted on Snapchat in real time, you’ll be able to follow the cast as they travel to the sultry city of Miami to learn English with ESL, hit the beach and discover America.
Hosted by a Snapchat savvy former ESL student, Mark Abdelli, and reality TV darling Amélie Neten, the series will follow 5 French students on their language trip adventure in June. Let’s meet the cast!
Allan
18-year-old Allan is a Parisian whose daydreams are filled with the American dream, from road tripping along route 66 and exploring the Grand Canyon to soaking up the rays on the white sands of palm tree lined Miami Beach.
Amandine
Picardie born and bred, at 22 years old Amandine can’t wait to indulge her inner child by swimming with the dolphins and visiting Disney World in Florida. She’s hoping her English will help her on her future travels around the world!
Habib
Determined to break into the competitive American business world, 22-year-old Habib is aware that English is the language to know for a corporate career. For Habib, going to Miami to learn English is a dream come true.
Kevin
The owner of his own company, young entrepreneur Kevin (age 27) is equally excited to learn English for the world of business. Hailing from Paris, he can’t wait to trade the Seine for the beach!
Virginie
Advancing her career, experiencing authentic American culture and maybe even swimming with dolphins… just a few of the reasons why 36-year-old Virginie is saying goodbye to Grenoble and hello to Miami!
English and fun in Miami
In between English classes at our partner school in Miami’s lively South Beach, follow the cast members as they jet ski along the Atlantic, experience Miami nightlife at the legendary clubs of South Beach, hunt for Mickey Mouse at Disney World and discover the city’s hidden gems from the atmospheric Cuban restaurants of Little Havana to the cosmopolitan shopping centres and high rises of glamorous Mid-Beach.
Having already studied abroad with ESL, producer and host Mark hopes to inspire viewers to pursue their dreams, whether it be to learn a language, travel the world or both!
