I couldn’t leave New York without a fancy brunch. I thought I would have ordered more so to have enough pictures to post here, but seriously, only half portion of the pancakes you see in the picture could have filled Shrek himself.

I left the Big Apple with mixed feelings. The snow, the wind, the smell of food, the freezing cold and the weird metro system were nothing compared to the sense of belonging you get after living a New York experience.

I wasn’t new there; I went as a tourist 2 years ago.

This time it was different though; I was there to work on my English and instead of coming back with souvenirs I came back with an experience I will never forget.

It’s amazing how in only one week it is possible to live so many fantastic moments and get to meet so many different people. The school, the teacher, the group, New York, everything was perfect.

I’m getting way too emotional so I will just close my blog series with this piece of advice.

Go abroad, live a country, live a language. And don’t be too hard on yourself, when you were born you didn’t know how to speak but you already proved yourself once that you can succeed at it!

Another advice for the ones who want to go for a language course to NY: don’t worry about your accent, there are plenty in USA!

And last but not least, just to prove you that Americans do speak like in the movies, below a picture of me!
